55 Things

Ok so I know this is a food blog, and a bucket list has very little nothing to do with food.  Well…sorry.  I have been composing this bucket list for a while now and I just wanted to post it.  Plus I love seeing other people’s list, so maybe some of you out there would enjoy seeing mine.  Comment and let me know which items you’ve done or would like to add to your own list!

  1. Haha will do! I didn’t know you had a desire to go to Austria! They have a Sound of Music tour where they take you to all the sites where they filmed. I’d also want to see where Mozart grew up and tour the Salzburg Palace where all the great composers once performed.

  2. I hope you succeed in your list, except the driving over 100 mph. You have a wonderful blog and I have a feeling you will not only succeed with your bucket list; but with many more great opportunities in life.

    • Haha I have been to an Iron Bowl game in Tuscaloosa. I’ve actually been to 3 there. The others I’ve been to are Tennessee and LSU. I’d still like to go to Florida and Georgia though!

  3. I’ve been lucky enough to have done several of the things on your list. I’ve been to the Great Wall, seen the pyramids, (ridden a camel) flown first class, visited the Louvre, ridden a gondola in Venice, seen the Effiel tower at night, learned a foreign language (married a French Canadian and had twins in Montreal) and gotten my masters. But I’m decades older than you – you’ve accomplished sooo much! And, just from seeing your wonderful blog, I know you’ll do all that you have set out to do!

  4. Great List!!! I have: Lived in Israel; ridden an elephant; played with baby lions in a private house!!-flown First Class (bumped up due to wheelchair but still!!) and was ruined for regular planes for life!–I have seen the Northern Lights many times–live waaaay far North!–And I have ridden–not driven–over 100 MPH on the back of a very large and very fast motorcycle.

Part of my list: Take that very large and very fast motorbike to Australia–if I win the Lottery I will buy the ENTIRE FIRST CLASS CABIN and pay to have the seats removed and have the bike bolted in there and RIDE her to Oz. Forget that “Iron Butt” competition! Over achieve or go home!!!!

    Take the bike to Europe

Take the bike out West and see what my husband thinks about some of the places I am in love with out there!

So–for us–it really IS all about the bike!!!!

Love the recipes too–cooking like a 5 star chef every night gets boring even for 5 star chefs!

  5. From looking at your list and your site i really feel you can cross another 1 off your list. Your site is amazing and you have without have already mentored without knowing it. Keep up the great work!
